Let the Shootout Begin!

It is almost time for another round of the best and longest running summer tournament series in Columbus, OH. Stromie's Summer Shootouts begin on May 16th starting at 7:30pm.

The Shootouts will have the same format that everyone has become accustomed to over the years. Qualifying will consist of a 3 game qualifier on tough and demanding tournament conditions. After the qualifying round has been completed the top 16 scores will advance to match play. Match play bowlers will bowl head to head in a one game elimination match until a winner is determined.

Weekly participants earn points towards qualifying for the end of year Super Shootout. Those who qualify for the Super Shootout will be competing for a 1st place prize of at least $1,100 dollars for a $45 entry fee. Brackets and Jackpots will also be available each week and in the Super Shootout.

The only change for this year is a $5 increase in the entry fee bringing the total entry fee to $45, which is still lower than any other tournament series you can choose to bowl in the area. Out of this increase $3 will go to the weekly prize fund, and the other $2 go to cover an increase in lineage passed on by AMF Sawmill Lanes.
