Rainbow Lanes to host Masons fundraiser

Article from the Ohio Bowler 8/15/08 edition

9/6/08

The good work and charitable contributions made by the Masons is considerable and an ongoing part of their misson.

The South Gate-Totter Lodge No. 782 is adding bowling as a fundraiser for their group.

"Hosting a bowling tournament was one of the new ideas kicked around by our group," said Mark Gilmore. "Since I am an avid bowler, I was elected to proceed with the project. Bob McCracken of Rainbow Lanes was receptive to the idea and our event sprung to life."

Rainbow Lanes will host the Craft Club's Singles and Doubles Tournament on September 27th. The singles will be held at 1pm followed by the doubles event at 5pm. $500 will be paid to the first place finisher in each event based on 100 singles entries and 50 doubles teams. Handicap is based on 100 percent of a 220 average, using the high average from the 2007-08 season. The entry fee is $25 per event or $45 if you enter both events.

For more information contact Rainbow Lanes at 614-491-7155 or visit their website at http://www.Rainbowbowling.com or http://www.myspace.com/thecraftclub.
