July, 2006 – The founder of BetOnBowlers.com recently teamed up with Steven Schillaci, Casting Director for Game Show Marathon. They co-created Watch and Win Bowling and will soon be pitching the 13 week game show to major production companies for national television coverage.

The BetOnBowler’s Event at Sam’s Town will help with the development of Watch and Win Bowling. Here’s how BetOnBowler's works. The top 50 bowlers play 5 games. Each game ten bowlers compete in the potgame area. The bowler with the highest game wins the purse. The second place bowler wins bowling gear and spectators who pick the bowlers who won the game can win prizes from our sponsors. After 5 games, the top 10 bowlers play one final game for the big purse of the day and total pins will determine the winner of the tournament. Spectator admission and pickaplayer tickets are Free!

Breakdown of $160 entry for first 50 bowlers: $130 prize fund, $20 linage, $10 promotion expense. Prize fund increases with more entries. Added value from sponsors (total for both divisions approximately $4,600) *Based on 150 entries: *Prize fund $20,000 for each division – *1st 5 potgames $400, *final potgame $2,000 and *1st place $2,000. Based on 150 entries: One in four cash, there will be optional side pots and brackets and don’t forget lots of bowling gear and other prizes can be won by bowlers as well as spectators who pick the bowlers who win so bring your friends.

We just created another fun way for bowlers to win sponsor products. Colored pins will be added to the lanes where bowlers compete for the purse and Free bowling gear. When a colored head-pin shows up in the rack and the bowler gets a strike, the first bowler wins a Virtual Tournament.com entry. All bowlers who strike with colored head-pins after that receive additional pickaplayer tickets to win bowling gear.

The Handicap division is a one day event. There's one qualifying squad Saturday morning and The Top 50 Finals immediately follow @ 11:30 a.m.

Scratch qualifying rounds are Saturday and Sunday and the Top 50 Scratch Finals will take place Sunday, August 6th @ 12 p.m.

Enter on or before July 22nd and the B.O.B. entry fee is only $160. Enter by July 15th and you will be eligible to win an NXT shirt and BetOnBowler’s Entry. Onsite entries are $170 (cash only). You can also enter online using a major credit card or Paypal at BetOnBowlers.com.

Rather than wait until the last minute we are asking bowlers to send their entry now. This will allow time to verify averages and checks can clear (which will allow prompt payouts). With those tasks minimized the tournament will run more more efficiently.
