June 26, 2006 - High Roller's 7th annual New Jersey Red Hot is ready to roll at Laurel Lanes in Maple Shade.

The latest edition of this scratch event will be bowled over the July 22 & 23 weekend. This is the 7th consecutive year at the 64-bed Laurel Lanes, newly remodeled with synthetic lanes and wood approaches. For the 7th consecutive year, this major East Coast scratch event is presented by Storm, the Bowler's Company!

Part of the success of the event is the location, as Laurel Lanes is reached easily to players from New England down to Virginia. It is just off of Exit 4 of the New Jersey Turnpike, just an hour from NYC and 1 1/2 hours from Baltimore.

Bowlers from more than 16 states have participated over the years and we are looking for another big turnout! $7,500 for 1st is guaranteed, $4,000 for 2nd and $1,500 for 6th place! There are 8 qualifying squads over the 2 days and bowlers try to advance to the match play finals on Sunday, each guaranteed a minimum $200. Bill Gasser is the Defending Champ.

The NJ Red Hot is for amateurs only and qualifying is in age divisions: 49 & under or 50 & over. There are also Sidepots and Brackets during the qualifying squads. The 1st squad on Sunday features a Doubles purse at no extra cost!
