T.K. Terrill of Omaha captured the title at the Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic held at Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs, Iowa on October 7-8, 2006.

Terrill defeated Brian Kjergard of Fulton, IL, Jay Watts of Omaha, and George Hanson of Omaha in the tournament championship match to claim a $2,500 first prize.

In the championship match, Terrill took control of the match early and never looked back. Terrill finished with 239 to best Kjergard (218), Watts (216), and Hansen (191). In winning the Columbia 300 TBC Omaha event, Terrill becomes the first champion to qualify from the 45 and over / women’s division which guarantees four (4) checks during each TBC event.

The tournament paid out more than $4,800 in prize money, an amount greater than collected entry fees, demonstrating the Columbia 300 commitment to competitive tournament bowling.

The Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic moves to Reno for its eight tournament to be conducted at The National Bowling Stadium on October 21-22, 2006. The TBC Reno event, co-sponsored by The National Bowling Stadium, offers a guaranteed 1st prize of $4,000. The Columbia 300 TBC circuit then heads for a November 4-5 tournament at Eastern Lanes in Middletown, Ohio.
