Joe Vito of San Antonio captured the title at the Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic held at Oak Hills Lanes in San Antonio on August 26-27, 2006.

Vito defeated Ronnie Hulme of San Antonio, Jack Zuniga of San Antonio, and Shawn Meads of Floresville, TX in the tournament championship match to claim a $2,500 first prize. Vito fired a 245 to best Hulms (196), Zuniga (177), and Meade (160).

The tournament paid out more than $6,100 in prize money demonstrating the Columbia 300 commitment to competitive tournament bowling.

The Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic moves on to the St. Louis area (Fairview Heights, IL) for its fifth tournament, to be conducted at St. Clair Bowl on September 9-10, 2006. The Columbia 300 TBC circuit then heads back to the Lone Star State for a September 23-24, 2006 tour stop at Don Carter All-Star Lanes – City View in Fort Worth.
