SAN ANTONIO, TX - Columbia 300 announced today the remaining events on the Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic 2006 schedule as well as its plans for the 2007 season.
The remaining 2006 TBC schedule includes nine events from Reno, NV to Baltimore, MD. Of the nine, five will be held in centers with PBA or other major tournament experience.
Columbia Industries Director of Marketing Tripp Holmgrain believes grassroots marketing efforts, including local competitive tournaments, are key to growing the sport of bowling while showcasing the quality and performance of Columbia 300 products.
“Grassroots tournaments are a great way to support bowling and local pro shops in communities,” says Holmgrain. “Our commitment to the bowling industry and the sport of bowling has never been stronger. Columbia 300 has previously hosted successful tournaments and we are confident the Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic effort will continue that success.”
The remaining 2006 schedule kicks off with the TBC San Antonio at Oak Hills Lanes in San Antonio, TX, August 26-27, 2006 and will feature a guaranteed first prize of $2,500.00.
