2008 Shootouts Begin on 5/16/2008
The 2008 Season of Stromie's Summer Shootouts being on May 16, 2008. The Grand Finale will take place on 8/15/2008. Stay tuned as I get the time to archive the 2007 pages to make room for the 2008 pages.
I understand you are going to have several choices in where to bowl this summer. Please keep in mind that while they guarantee a pretty prize fund based on lofty turnout expectations, Stromie's events have had a consistent turnout week to week going back over 10 years now!

Basic Rules and Format
- When: Every Friday Night @ 7:30pm 5/16/08 - 8/15/07 (Dark on 7/4/08)
- Check-In: 6:45pm
- Where: Sawmill Lanes 4825 Sawmill Rd Columbus, OH
- Entry Fee: $45 (Prize Fund $28, Final Event $5, Lineage $10, Expenses $2)
- Tournament Conditions: TOUGH! Be Prepared to make shots
- Brackets and Sidepots available
Bowlers start out by bowling a 3 game qualifier. After the qualifier, the field is cut to the top 16 bowlers who will
be seeded into a one game matchplay bracket. Winners advance until there is only one bowler remaining.
Points are determined based up the place finished. We will display the point system once it has been announced. Typically,
if you show up every week and do NOT make the cut, you will still qualify for the end of year Super Shootout. Participation
is key.
The Shootouts are usually pretty quick in getting done. Tournament usually end around 11:30pm, so for those travelling from
a couple hours away, if you win the tournament you wouldn't be getting home too late.
Tournament results, point standings, and other statistics will be made available on the site each week. So be sure to keep checking back.
